NIALL HORAN ALBUM COVER

My artwork entry for a brief for Niall Horan’s new album, Heartbreak Weather.

This one’s on his exhilarating song, ‘Nice to meet ya’, which has so much to say about chance encounters and fleeting time. I tried something different from my usual style for this. My depiction is conceptual - with colours resembling a discotheque, focussing on two clocks, one where time stood still and the other from where it quickly fleeted, almost melting away. Isn’t that how most exciting encounters are? I wanted the essence of this work to remain upbeat and thrilling, since Horan brings to us distance and loss in his album with a positive spirit.
